Returns Policy

Rev Bikes offers a flexible returns policy and are happy to accept items back for a refund or exchange if items purchased don’t fit or the items are damaged/faulty upon receipt.  Please note there are no returns on bikes.  See below for warranty issues.

  • Goods cannot be returned or exchanged if the customer has simply changed their mind.
  • Goods must be returned with 7 days of receipt.
  • Refunds and exchanges are permitted where the goods purchased do not perform as advertised.
  • Refunds and exchanges will only be offered on full priced items only.
  • Items on sale or discontinued items cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Goods must be un-used and in original undamaged packaging.
  • Freight charges on returns are non-refundable.

 

Here's what you need to do:


1.  You MUST email us on info@revbikes.co.nz prior to sending the product back to us and wait until you have received a confirmation email with a returns number. Please include a note stating the purchasers name, address, e-mail address and order number if known.  If no returns number is obtained prior to us receiving the returned product(s), then we are unable to issue a credit note or refund.

 

2.  Please ship the items to us with a courier that provides a ‘signature required on delivery’ option.  Please retain a record of your shipment until you have received your replacement or refund.

Warranty Issues:

Repair or replace - If the returned product is still under warranty then the repair or replacement will be at our expense. If the product is out of warranty, then we can still have the product repaired, however, the cost of the repair will be charged to the customer. In some cases we may not be able to repair or replace your product due to availability or discontinuation of that particular line.

Our Legal Obligations:

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold in New Zealand. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.

Fair Trading Act 1986

The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
